How to Play Head Soccer Games

Head soccer games use big-headed characters and head-only control. You move left and right, jump, and hit the ball with your head to score. Matches are fast and arcade-style, often in an arena with walls and sometimes a ceiling. Here is how to improve.

Basic Controls

Controls are simple: move with arrow keys or A/D, jump with space or W. Some games support touch—tap to move, swipe to jump. You cannot use your feet; every touch is a header. The skill is in positioning and timing, not complex inputs. Get comfortable moving and jumping before focusing on scoring.

Positioning Between Ball and Goal

Stay between the ball and your goal when defending, and between the ball and the opponent goal when attacking. If the ball is above you, move under it and time your jump. If it is bouncing, wait for the right moment so your header goes toward the goal, not sideways or back. Good positioning reduces desperate jumps and gives you more control.

Using Walls and Ceiling

Arena head soccer games have walls (and sometimes a ceiling). Use them to create angles. Bounce the ball off a wall to change direction and surprise the keeper. A header into the wall can rebound toward the goal. Learn how the ball bounces so you can plan shots instead of reacting only when the ball is in the air.

Short Taps vs Holding Jump

Short taps on the jump button often work better than holding. A tap gives a quick, controlled header. Holding can lead to mistimed or weak contacts. Use short taps to direct the ball with more accuracy. When the ball is high, time your jump so you connect at the peak—that sends the ball downward and makes it harder to save.

Playing Against the AI

AI opponents often follow patterns. Watch how they move and when they jump. If they overcommit to one side, use the wall or a quick change of direction. Do not rush; wait for a good chance. In close games, one well-placed header often decides the match.
